Triangle, Cardborad, Thread, and Gesso, 2 ft long
For this piece, I was inspired by the architectural styles Gothic and Art Deco. From the Gothic style I pulled angular shapes and the use of triangles. From the Art Deco style I pulled the idea of having a focal point by adding thread stitches to some of the triangle edges in order to create a focal point.
