My Piece:

My memory consisted of visiting the Denver Botanical Garden's Japanese Garden with my mom. For this piece I wanted to use elements of a Japanese gate. This lead to the use of different woods and stone. I wanted to emphasize the harsh lines of the gate but still have an aspect of organic shapes.
